11 Best Blenders In Singapore 2023 – Save Time & Energy!
Tasty and healthy beverages are at your convenience with the best blenders in Singapore! Especially, if you plan on using your blender daily.
All the more reason to find a blender that doesn’t smoke and burn out after a few weeks’ of regular use!
For promising models, check out this list of the best blenders in Singapore!
Types Of Blender
Some of these can be very multifunctional:
1. Hand Blender / Immersion Blender
This may or may not come with a jug. You can stick them straight into a pot of soup to start creaming away!
They take away the trouble of having to wash multiple pots and bowls.
2. Portable Blender / Personal Blender
These can look like an ordinary water tumbler. However the lid hides a blade. So when you want to blend, you turn the tumbler upside down and it becomes a blender!
Because they are cordless, personal blenders will require charging (e.g. via USB). Or batteries. And they don’t pack as much power as counter top blenders.
3. Juice Blender / Fruit Blender
The conventional juice or fruit blender will sit on your countertop.
You feed in ingredients (like slices of fruit and vegetables) from the top, close the lid, and push on your required speed to start blending!
Yes, they are usually noisy.
High-end models can be very powerful (and expensive) since they are not cordless. And juice blenders can come with many accessories to increase the functionality of the device.
Slow juicers are something else though. See which are the best juicers in Singapore!
4. Vacuum Blender
The newer vacuum blenders have many supposed benefits over conventional blenders. And thus, they are more expensive!
They:
- Can maintain freshness of food for longer by preventing oxidation of the ingredients
- Preserve nutrients in your smoothies
- Produce super smooth textures with little foam
- Can be just as versatile as conventional countertop blenders – sauces, nut milk, smoothies, soup, porridge, nut butter, ground spices, etc

1. Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender HB150 – Best Smoothie Fruit Blender
If you’re willing to spend about $300 on a blender in Singapore, there are some things about the Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender, HB150 that you should know first.
Firstly, you only get a year’s worth of warranty on this blender although this does depend on where you get it.
In comparison, the Bosch MaxoMixx 1000W Hand Blender MS8CM6190 in the same price range comes with 2 years’ warranty.
But at 1,000W, Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender, HB150 matches the power of the Bosch MaxoMixx 1000W Hand Blender MS8CM6190.
However, the Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender, HB150 is slightly less powerful (1,000W vs 1,200W) than the pricier and similarly sized Rommelsbacher Glass Blender MX 1250.
Moreover, the Rommelsbacher Glass Blender MX 1250 comes with a 2-year warranty period.
That said, like the Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender, HB150, the Rommelsbacher Glass Blender MX 1250 comes with a glass jar. Which means you can blend both hot and cold ingredients.
It depends on what you make on a regular basis – sweet Chinese dessert soups, western-style soups, fruit smoothies and shakes, nut pastes, blended soybean milk, etc.
We must say that the self-cleaning function of the Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender, HB150 impresses since it even heats up the water!
There are 10 preset functions that come with the Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender, HB150. One of these is saute function although we do not think the shape of the glass jar is ideal for this cooking style.
Be aware that the Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender, HB150 is not quiet when blending either. Which is to be expected since it is powerful enough to crush ice!
While it is not a perfect blender, the Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender, HB150 comes close. We think that at this price point, it’s not a bad investment if you will make regular use of it.
Pros:
- Well made with a thick glass jar
- Powerful enough to crush ice and sturdy
- Self-cleaning function is useful
- Presets include soups (hot) and frozen drinks
- Recipe booklet included as well as a manual
Cons:
- Short warranty period for the price
- Noisy
- Glass jar is heavy
- Can’t remove the heating element for easier cleaning
- Bulky on the counter
- Not effective at grinding spices and garlic
- Power: 1,000 W
- Jar Useful Capacity: 1.6 L
- Jar Material: Glass
- Warranty: 1 year
- Price: ~$250

2. PHILIPS Series 5000 Blender Core
PHILIPS Series 5000 Blender Core shares some similarities with the Tefal Blender Blendforce BL4271. They are around the same price range ($70 to $80), have about the same power rating (600W vs 700W), and have plastic jars.
However, the PHILIPS Series 5000 Blender Core holds slightly more than the Tefal Blender Blendforce BL4271 (1.5L vs 1.2L). Both blenders do come with 2 years’ warranty as well.
What we like about the PHILIPS Series 5000 Blender Core is that it can blend ice. But this is only to an extent. As it does not completely crush all the ice in one go and some human intervention is necessary.
It’s also a pity the jar is made of plastic – you can’t use it for blending hot soups. Additionally, the boost function does not work as well as we think it should.
To be fair, the PHILIPS Series 5000 Blender Core is a really easy blender to use and clean (blades can be removed). And it does come with some pre-set functions. It holds its ground well when blending is in progress too.
If you’re not planning on making smoothies with a whole lot of ice, we think that the PHILIPS Series 5000 Blender Core is a fine choice for a simple blender under $100.
Pros:
- Good build quality
- Blade is removable for easier cleaning
- Inexpensive with a long warranty period
- Powerful for its price point
- Holds position while blending
- Simple inoffensive appearance
Cons:
- A little bit noisy
- Can’t completely crush a huge quantity of ice
- Jar is made of plastic (not as durable as glass or as tolerant of hot ingredients)
- Power: 700 W
- Jar Useful Capacity: 1.5 L
- Jar Material: Plastic
- Warranty: 2 years
- Price: ~$80

3. Tefal Blender Blendforce BL4271 Or BL4291
Tefal’s Blender, Blendforce BL4271 has 6 super sharp blades that will make a paste or puree within 3 minutes!
You may occasionally need to add some liquid in to get it blending smoothly. But this blender’s simplicity and power is sufficient for most users to blend garlic, chilies or ginger!
Ice and nuts pose a bit of a challenge but are still possible! Get the other Tefal Blendforce model, BL4291 if you want a chopper.
For soft ingredients, the Tefal Blender Blendforce BL4271 will be good enough. It’s not perfect (sometimes it struggles), but it is under S$80 with a 2-year warranty!
Note: BL4291 comes with a chopper.
Pros:
- Simple operation
- Prolongs life of motor with Air Cooling System (i.e. keep the motor from overheating)

- Long warranty
- Not difficult to clean (jar and lid are dishwasher-safe, just remove the blades)

- Suction feet keep it stable as you blend
- With a pulse function
Cons:
- Plastic jug

- Power: 600 W
- Jar Useful Capacity: 1.25 L
- Jar Material: Plastic
- Warranty: 2 years
- Price: ~$70

4. Rommelsbacher Glass Blender MX 1250
From the appearance alone, you can tell that the Rommelsbacher Glass Blender MX 1250 is a power house!
“Powerful , but quiet” is the choice phrase to describe it the Rommelsbacher Glass Blender MX 1250.As it’s surprisingly not as noisy as you would expect it to be!
The sound it makes is unlike under blenders – it’s neither too loud or whiny (i.e. high-pitched).
It has dedicated buttons just for crushing ice, cleaning, or making smoothies too. So you can use it for making smoothies or a cup of frappe!
Blend your own peanut butter if you want to or turn dates into puree!
If you have tried other Rommelsbacher products (like the mixer), you will find that the robust Rommelsbacher Glass Blender MX 1250 meets the same high quality standard.
No doubt, this blender is expensive at S$300+. But you certainly get what you pay for with the Rommelsbacher Glass Blender MX 1250. It’s built for safety, frequent use, and to last!

5. Cornell 1.5L Jug Blender With Grinder High Speed Mixer CBLS252PMB
Replacing the Cornell Blender with Miller 1.5L CBL-S250PM, the same-sized (it makes up to 6 cups) Cornell 1.5L Jug Blender With Grinder High Speed Mixer CBLS252PMB is more powerful, and just a tad more expensive than its predecessor.
You can use it to blend frozen berries or ice. A few presses will make smoothies that are not perfectly smooth but acceptable.
Meanwhile, the smaller grinder that comes with it can crush nuts like almonds.
Unfortunately the main jug still uses plastic and some parts can break (e.g. handle) if you accidentally drop it. On that regard, it is sadly not an improvement over the older Cornell Blender with Miller 1.5L CBL-S250PM.
Operation however, is straightforward to use (albeit a bit noisy) and that’s one of the blenders advantages besides its affordability. It’s also a breeze to clean.
So if you need a powerful and cheap blender in your kitchen to make the occasional smoothie or baby food, the Cornell 1.5L Jug Blender With Grinder High Speed Mixer CBLS252PMB is a viable option.
Pros:
- Inexpensive
- Powerful (blends fast and can blend ice)
- Long warranty for the price
- Comes with a smaller grinding mill
- With a safety lock
- Can be taken apart for convenient cleaning
- Easy operation
- Acceptably loud
Cons:
- Not the best build quality
- Leaks if the bottom lid is not fully locked
- Power: 500 W
- Jar Useful Capacity: 1.5 L
- Jar Material: Plastic
- Warranty: 1 year
- Price: ~$43.9

6. Tefal Blendforce 2 Glass Blender BL4361
Another glass blender you can pick up in Singapore:
The Tefal Blendforce 2 Glass Blender BL4361 (and included chopper) will set you back for ~S$130!
Take note, the highest temperature it can stand is 80°C so you can’t pour boiling soup into it immediately.
We like the solid feel of the glass jug, and that it can blend ice! You can also take the blender apart for convenient cleaning.
However, you need to pre-chop larger ingredients (e.g. frozen fruit) into smaller pieces before blending them!
At its price point, there’s not much to complain about the Tefal Blendforce 2 Glass Blender BL4361 if you don’t mind the extra food preparation.
Which is why we put it under Best Value For Money (counter top model)! Since you also get a dry mill with it (albeit a plastic one)!
Pros:
- Superb quality
- Easy to clean
- Made to cope with warm and hot food (up to 80°C)
- Powerful motor
- Compact attractive design
- Smart lock feature
- Has suction cups to stick it firmly to the counter
- 3 speed settings
- Not noisy
Cons:
- Dry mill jar is made of plastic

- Warranty: 2 years
- Price: ~$129

7. TOYOMI 1.75L Cooking Blender 1000W BLC 4695
Unlike the Tefal Blendforce 2 Glass Blender BL4361, this blender in Singapore is best for pureeing soup and hot desserts since it can take up to 100°C:
The TOYOMI 1.75L Cooking Blender 1000W BLC 4695 has precise temperature control (i.e. heating function) as well.
Use the digital display to select any of the 8 automatic programs – we do like that there’s one just for making soybean milk.
The blender is not without its flaws however. The preset smoothie function results in too much foam. And the self-cleaning function is not that effective for dislodging debris.
On the other hand, you can use the TOYOMI 1.75L Cooking Blender 1000W BLC 4695 to make homemade soy milk in 30 minutes! Another preset function that works is pureed soup!
Moreover, the manual blending function is good for this sturdy blender. It’s just a tad noisy but can chop up fruits easily. Or blend almonds and sesame seeds to a paste!
Besides, how often do you see a blender that has a heating function anyways?
This blender is both adept at blending cold and hot beverages which makes the TOYOMI 1.75L Cooking Blender 1000W BLC 4695 a cheaper alternative to the pricier Thermomix!
Note: If your blender displays E01 – check that lid is fully secure on the jug!
Pros:
- Self-cleaning
- Solid glass jar
- Powerful motor
- Separate ice crush function
- 8 stainless steel blades
- Built-in safety feature (won’t start if lid is not on properly)
- With a dedicated soybean milk function
Cons:
- Does not come with a dry mill
- Intimidating instruction manual (lots to read)
- Quite noisy
- Some granules remain when you make soy milk
- Power: 1,000 W
- Jar Useful Capacity: 1.75 L
- Jar Material: Glass
- Warranty: 1 year
- Price: ~$188

Best Hand Blender
Bear in mind, none of these hand blenders are cordless, despite the pictures!
Rather, they’ll be similar to the one in this video (notice how the company avoids showing the wire fully until the end of the video):
8. Bosch MaxoMixx 1000W Hand Blender MS8CM6190
This handheld blender by Bosch even has a dough tool! Among other useful attachments like a whisk, shredder and mixing wand.
Make anything from grated cheese, ground nuts, smoothies, pureed soup, baby food, sauces and whipped cream!
Like the Philips Viva Collection ProMix Handblender HR2657/91, the Bosch Hand Blender Food Preparation MS8CM6190 (MaxoMixx) may come with a lot of accessories, but no box to keep them in!
However, both hand blenders come with 2-year warranty.
Although, this hand blender is more comfortable to use with its ergonomic design. And it has a more effortless speed mechanism compared to the Philips Viva Collection ProMix Handblender HR2657/91.
For the MS8CM6190, there is a dial at the top to change the speed.
Hopefully though, you have a dishwasher. Else it will take you a while to clean up all the bulkier accessories of the MS8CM6190!
You’ll also need to pay almost double the price of the Philips Viva Collection ProMix Handblender HR2657/91 for the Bosch Hand Blender Food Preparation MS8CM6190 (MaxoMixx).
Which is not worth it, in our books. Since the accessories are also of plastic, instead of a more durable material!
But if you value comfort, then the Bosch Hand Blender Food Preparation MS8CM6190 (MaxoMixx) is a better option than the Philips Viva Collection ProMix Handblender HR2657/91.
Note: 1.4m cable length
Pros:
- Stainless steel housing
- Non slip handle with ergonomic grip
- Anti-splash
- Dishwasher-safe components
- Blades are detachable
- Decent cable length
Cons:
- Pricey
- Doesn’t come with a storage unit to keep all the accessories
- Power: 1,000 W
- Material Accessories: BPA-free Plastic
- Accessories: Plastic Dough Tool, Beaker (600ml), Whisk, Chopper, Shredder, Mixing Wand
- Warranty: 2 years
- Price: ~$279

9. Tefal Hand Blender Optitouch HB8338
It’s quiet, blends well, and is easy to wash!
And the Tefal Hand Blender Optitouch HB8338 has an anti-splash guard too which is quite wide. So you may not be able to fit this hand blender into a cup!
Like the other handheld blenders (Philips HR2657/91 and Bosch MS8CM6190), it too has plastic accessories. And 2 years’ warranty!
The blending tool is not as sturdy as we would like but it still gets the job done! It can blend ingredients finely even if it takes longer. And it blends without making substantial noise.
If you like the idea of a hand blender but don’t want a bevy of accessories and many parts to deal with, the Tefal Hand Blender Optitouch HB8338 should be on your list of considerations!
Plus, it’s just under the S$100 mark!
Note: Not a cordless product despite the pictures.
Pros:
- Good quality
- Long warranty considering the price
- Has a pulse and turbo function
- Dishwasher-safe
- Powerful

Best Personal Blender
10. Aura Blender
For a personal blender, the attractive Aura Blender is powerful at 100W. And it can blend ice and frozen ingredients with its single speed of 25,000 RPM – currently the highest in the market.
The Aura Blender can also grind spices or sauces besides smoothies and protein shakes!
Plus, it only takes an hour to fully charge it via USB. And after that, you can use it to make 25 or so drinks. There is a battery light indicator so you know how much battery is left.
And in case you are worried about your kids messing with it, the Aura Blender will not start blending unless the jar is secure.
Furthermore, most personal blenders are made of plastic but the Aura Blender is actually made of a durable and food-grade (with certification) borosilicate glass. Which also enables you to use it for warm beverages!
Its solid build does make it heavier than a typical plastic personal blender (for comparison, the Morphy Richards Rechargeable Portable Juice Blender weighs 450g while the Aura Blender weighs in at 730g).
However, the Aura Blender does come with additional attachments so you can replace the detachable motor base with a bottle cap to convert the blender into a drinking bottle that weighs just 395g.
That said, it’s still highly portable and the price is agreeable considering the high power and durable material of the blender jug. It suits the busy lifestyle of many working Singaporeans.
Pros:
- Easy to clean up
- Powerful yet portable
- Good build quality and jug is made of glass instead of plastic
- Fully charged in an hour
- Battery lasts long on a single charge

- Usage: 25+ Blends Per 1 Hour Charge
- Charging Time: 1 hour
- Capacity: 480 ml
- Warranty: 1 year
- Price: ~$59.9

11. Morphy Richards Rechargeable Portable Juice Blender
This personal blender from Morphy Richards is cordless! And if you don’t like it in navy blue, it does come in white and pink too!
You can use it roughly 4 times (makes a single cup serving each time) before you need to recharge it (via USB). Unfortunately, there is no light to indicate how much battery is left.
It’s capable of blending ice (though not advisable) but for fruits, you will need to do some prep work!
Watch it in action (background music is too loud to hear the blender):
By the way, the cup can’t hold too many ingredients at a time. So keep that in mind if you’re using it for smoothies.
Still, the Morphy Richards Rechargeable Portable Juice Blender is good for daily use as it fuss-free! And it’s not very noisy either.
Overall, the Morphy Richards Rechargeable Portable Juice Blender is a well-made personal blender for travelers or active folk who want to make chill or room temperature beverages on the go.
However, think twice about getting this if you will find it a hassle to always ensure that is fully charged before you leave your house. Or if you require a huge serving as 1/3 of the cup is already taken up by the motor).
Note: The magnetic charger is unique to this product. If you lose or damage it, you will not be able to get a replacement without having to buy another brand new blender.

Tips On How To Choose The Best Blender
1. Types And Functions Of Blenders
We already covered the types of blenders in more detail above.
To summarize, these are the different types you can find on the market:
- Hand Blender / Immersion Blender – for blending smoothies and pureeing soup;
- Portable Blender / Personal Blender – for smoothies on the go (single serving)
- Juice Blender / Fruit Blender – home use to make smoothies
- Vacuum Blender – new technology that preserves flavors and freshness better
Look at your lifestyle – do you just make smoothies? Or do you also make baby food? And do you already have a food chopper or food processor?
A multifunctional blender that can blend, stir, mix, puree, process food will cost more. Since they are essentially multiple appliances in one unit!
If you bake a lot, why not get the best stand mixer in Singapore instead? Some stand mixers come with a blender jug so you can use it as a blender!
2. Jar/Jug Material
While glass is more fragile:
It is not as prone to scratches as plastic. Plastic has a way of absorbing some food odors (and stains) too.
Glass is also heavier. Because of this, most personal blenders tend to be made of plastic!
If you have to get a plastic blender, make sure it’s BPA-free! And pay attention to its minimum and maximum temperature limits!
3. Blade
High-quality stainless steel blades are resistant to corrosion! If you can remove the blade, that will be easier for cleaning!
4. Size
Are you blending for the whole family? For 2 people, or just for yourself?
5. Power & Speed
You don’t need more than 10 speed settings. 3 to 5 is ideal. But a pulse button is really useful!
As for power, 500W will do for smoothies and milkshakes!
For grinding nuts, you’ll need at least 700W!
6. Extra Attachments
Some blenders come with a dry mill/ chopper in case you want to grind up coffee beans or other dry food!
There may be a cup for making personal portions too.
7. Safety
If you have curious little fingers in your home, double check that the blender you want has built-in safety features.
Verdict
So from among these reviews on the best blenders in Singapore, we have our top picks listed at the beginning of this page!
Be sure to have a look as we have different winners for respective categories too!
